“CREATING A VIBRANT SAFE VENUE FOR HARROW’S YOUTH”

Project 5000 is working to create a safe, vibrant venue for young people aged 12-25 years from Harrow and surrounding boroughs. The aim is to have somewhere where young people can socialise in a drug and alcohol free atmosphere that is open daily, day and night just as a pub is.

You will know of young people who may drink because they are bored or for a feel good factor. Many go to parks to drink and those old enough to (or are under age and have managed to get in) go the pub where alcoholic influences are strong.

So where else is there to socialise? And where can young people feel good.

Aware that to take away alcohol we must offer something amazing: We have a vision to create a massive stylish venue that has room for everything a young person needs, including comfy sofas, pool tables, and loud music. In the day time we will offer a place for the unemployed as well as students and part time workers.
